Ross at Lomandra Studios is the real deal. He runs a commercial joinery / furniture / design business and offers weekly classes and courses in all aspects of woodwork. A very knowledgeable teacher with an incredibly high skill set, Ross encourages excellence, is patient and clearly is passionate about what he does. We have learnt so much from attending his classes.

Huge selection of timber slabs, awesome and knowledgeable staff. Needed a specific length slab for a project and the blokes cut a slab to length to help me out. Definitely coming back again for my next project.

Mo Ghami was Professional, Lovley natured, Always on time.Very reasonable cost.Great workmanship.He did a fantastic job repairing my home exactly the way I wanted it done.He did a tremendous job on the painting and worked 10hr day in severe rain and didn't stop.He also came back the next day to complete the job also on time.He cleaned up all the debris & rubbish and left my place looking lovley & clean.I couldn't have asked for a better Carpenter!I highly recommend Mo to do any carpentry work. If I need more work done I'll be booking him again.He also helped me by replacing a blown fluorescent light I could never do myself. I was very impressed with his respect of myself & neighbours by not playing loud music while he worked. A RARE TREAT indeed. If you read the last page of a novel first , have a short attention span , are too busy or can't stand long wordy reviews but you want good quality , custom made timber furniture exactly as you see it in your head in a timely manner at a reasonable price read no more reviews call Jono at 2EIGHT3 he is awesome and WILL not disappoint you.For every one else enjoy the journey with Jono his manner , skills and ideas are top notch.The back and forth with design , colours and finish is a great experience in bespoke furniture manufacture. I love the two pieces Jono has made for us the multi purpose vanity was a test the water job and Jono did not disappoint .So the decision to entrust him with the task of creating our 3D entertainment unit ,which is on constant display to all visitors was easy . I feel very warm inside about using the recycled timber that has had a former glorious life and has been retired with only an outlook of becoming firewood . Jono uses all his skills to massage those poor old timbers back to a new and different life . There is something good about being sustainable and supporting a local family oh and having a piece of furniture that actually started as an idea in your own head and now sits in front of you. Thank you Jono for exceeding my expectations and everyone else I hope you get to experience the same journey.

A genuinely 'old school' atmosphere to learn in and/or purchase fine quality woodworking and carving tools. Highly recommend any and all classes offered, or simply to just go and soak it up and have a chat (I've done that before and watching the parents and kids being welcomed and taught in normal, everyday human interactions, was the cherry on top of my impression of this place) - finding such rare service is a very cool thing, thanks guys!
